Regarding the current performance of Intel in the consumer market, Executive Vice President Gregory Bryant not only expressed the momentum but also full confidence.
Bryant said that during the epidemic, the sales of notebooks and desktop products were good, and the sales of notebooks based on Tiger Lake (11th-generation Core) were 30% higher than expected.
Although Bryant admits that the number of users migrating from desktops to notebooks is increasing, high-end workstations and gaming PCs still need desktop CPU support, and sales figures in the third quarter were better than those in the second quarter.
As for the competition with AMD, Apple and other companies, Bryant's view is that this just proves that the PC industry is still thriving and can continue to provide users with the best products, and Intel is also confident in itself.
Intel is optimistic about 2021. Soon, Tiger Lake-H (11th generation Core standard pressure, early next year), Rocket Lake (11th generation Core desktop, next March), Alder Lake (second half of next year) will all debut.
